What is the biggest change in marketing that you see coming in the next 2 years?

I think we are about to see a spending countertrend away from digital media and back into traditional mass media and PR.

Due largely to tighter privacy/data restrictions, a lessening ability to legally capture data and track customers, and higher CPM/CPC that is reducing or eliminating ROI for a lot of brands. I saw this first hand as a client.

You will see larger brands with more KPIs around mass awareness/impressions, and smaller businesses investing more in local/PR vs. online funnels.

What makes your company unique?

We are a marketing education company, servicing consumer brands.

– According to a recent Gallup poll, seven out of 10 employees say that training and development heavily influences their decision to stay with a company.
– Yet companies only invest six minutes in training every six months, according to HR Professionals Magazine.
-In addition, kasperspiro.com reported that 62% of managers believe their programs are NOT doing a good job of meeting their employees’ needs.

Newly minted brand managers are leaving their grad school programs with the belief that their MBAs and on-the-job training will be enough to start or sustain their careers.

Conversely, most directors and VPs think their teams are completely unequipped to do great work, need to be micromanaged to get it right, and easily burn out.

In June we’ll be launching the Brand Management Accelerator Platform (BMAP) as a way to fill the training and development gap felt by both.
