What makes your company unique?: Hope4veterans is a 501 c 3 that isnt there to just provide financial assistances but to help guide and empower our Women Veterans and their families by sisterhood. Our Peer2Peer program trains our Women Veterans to look at their self awareness of who they are for our first 2 phase, 3rd phase telling their story (Why is this important?) because its a healing process for the Women Veteran becoming a Peer2Peer and as a trainer we want to make sure we place Women in a role to empower and bring their skills to the table. We have seen too many struggles with Women not seeking assistances and as a Women Veteran we understand our sisters. 4-5 phase is develop their goals not only as a Peer2Peer but to help guide them into their personal dreams and find their own purpose.

Hope4veterans also has noticed many Women Veterans struggle with filing or questions about claims and medical which as peer2peer we help guide and provide the tools to build their confidence within them selves.
Hope4veterans has helped Women Veterans single mothers with Baby equipment and provided services, support for a year or as long as they need. Hope4veterans provides free laptops to Women Veterans to help them succeed in a business, job opportunity or just keeping them connected to others. While providing Free Laptops many Women Veterans have stayed connected to us for more support with gift cards or just connecting with our sisters. Hope4veterans guides the Women Veterans and their families as long as they need it. We support them until they become self-sufficient, build confidence within their selves and connect them to other sisters through social groups and events.

How do you define success?: Hope4veterans define success when you see a women veterans that lives every day in fear and unknown struggles to seeing them positively change and succeed in job, housing, benefits and overall self sufficiency.

Who in the industry inspires you and why?:
Demika Jackson. She has been my mentoring since I moved to Florida in 2018 with helping with Nonprofit. My goal was to create a nonprofit to help Women Veterans and over time she was able to narrow it down to see the bigger picture to be able to help guide our Women Veterans. She is hardest working, and strongest women I know. After my military career personally struggled showing my strong side and since I met her she has helped me find that side again.

What is a tip for success that you would provide someone in your same industry?: Nonprofit are not easy to run, you need a team that believes in you and your purpose. Find a mentor, and think outside the box. Nonprofit is different then a businesses, it needs a team to start but it also needs a purpose higher then your self. “Giving back to others.”

What excites you most about your industry?: As a Women Veteran i personally struggled on my journey to find resources, fight my claims, struggle getting all my medical benefits and so much more but what I am excited about is that my struggle turned into helping other Women Veterans. Regardless of how many times I wanted to give up I couldnt because someone else would reach out for help. God told me that these women need us. Hope4veterans while running it saved me 3 different x while I was struggling and what saved me was my sisters and mentors supporting me.
