PHobia PHEst at Brewer’s Pizza/Pinglehead Brewing, October 28

It’ll be a frightfully good party on Saturday, as Brewer’s Pizza and Pinglehead Brewing celebrate their 7th Anniversary with the ghoulish PHobia PHest, from 11am-5pm. The annual event combines Halloween fun with beer, food, and music.

That Pinglehead clown might be a perfect backdrop for a Halloween party at this pizza place and brewery. On a banner or on the tap handles, the clown almost looks back at you. Lore has it (or at least according to the guys over here) that Pinglehead is the mythical god of “Big Beer.” Indeed, the beers brewed here are not for the faint of heart, as many are upwards of the 7% ABV range.

For devilish delights, the brewery will release several new limited barrel-aged beers (list not available at press time), available in the tap room’s new Crowler (32 oz.) cans. Sink your teeth into a Halloween-themed food menu. Rockabilly group Go Get Gone will provide the tunes from 3-5pm (the band wore spooky costumes last year).

Be sure to wear your costumes for the costume contest!

And, yes, you can watch the Florida-Georgia game, too.

Brewer’s Pizza/Pinglehead Brewing is located at 14B Blanding Blvd., Orange Park. Look for the Brewer’s Pizza sign.

Cheers,
