About Us: Simone Bridges, born in Jacksonville, FL is a celebrity Kid Chef and the owner of Goddess Food Factory. She is well known for her unique twist on traditional desserts, educational STEM/STREAM based cooking classes, and her empowering motivational speeches. Her delicious pastries have received raving reviews by celebrities, chefs, and residents in Jacksonville, Florida and beyond. On October 30, 2017, Chef Simone was featured on Steve Harvey’s talk show, “Steve”, where she shared her recipe for success and the two of them emerged in laughter as she showed him how to make her famous Snicker Brownies.
As a student at Darnell-Cookman School of the Medical Arts, her love for Science and Mathematics has also coined her the nickname of the “STEM Chef.” Due to an overwhelming number of requests for her recipes and her love for STEM, she created the ExS.T.R.E.A.M. Baking Program which she teaches to students, youth organizations and educators across the country. Shortly after, her popular ExS.T.R.E.A.M. Baking Subscription Boxes came into existence. They are monthly subscription boxes in which she teaches Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics using culinary concepts.
As a motivational speaker and author, Simone has spoken to audiences of all ages about the importance of STEM/STREAM education, the recipe behind her success and entrepreneurship. She has been the keynote speaker for Girlz Rock of Ft. Wayne (Indiana), KIDposium (Michigan) just to name a few and has served on several distinctive panels. In the summer of 2017, Chef Simone expanded her skills into writing about her love for unique foods. She became a junior chef columnist for Afrik Kalabash Magazine devoted to celebrating the uniqueness of African taste. Later, she co-authored The Science Behind It: Formulating Success at Any Age to show kids that they can do anything. Chef Simone is currently working on her very first cookbook, which will release in mid 2019.
Although, she’s only 13 years old, she has already begun to build a strong culinary resume. Simone is the youngest winner in the 7 year history of the Taste of Black Competition. She has been featured on the cover of Inspiring Magazine, Modestly Bold Magazine, and she has participated in major food festivals. Chef Simone is also a part of LeBron James’ Always Believe campaign. Additionally, she’s been interviewed on several blogs, podcasts and can be seen globally in three “Smile of a Child” commercials aired via Trinity Baptist Network. This Pastry Princess has stated that her vision is to inspire other young kids around the world to Never Give Up and to Think STEM/STREAM Big. Ultimately, her goal is to continue sharing her love of baking & science, and to one day establish a foundation with the main focus of empowering and growing STREAM entrepreneurs.
