About Us: Jamin Press was created in 1998 to publish my first novel, Sentimental Music. Since then we have published five more novels: Winds of the South, An Island in the South, Return of the Native Son, Children at the Gate, and Kremlin by the Sea. Winds of the South (2008) was a finalist in the Eric Hoffer Awards competition in the category of ‘thought-provoking fiction.’ An Island in the South and Return of the Native Son followed as sequels. Children at the Gate, is a departure from this Civil War era genre, set in San Francisco in the 1970’s and 80’s.
