Miracle, the pop-up holiday cocktail bar concept, is returning to Jacksonville this year as Miracle on the Square (at Grape & Grain Exchange).
Miracle is a beloved holiday-themed bar pop-up started in NYC at cocktail bar Mace in 2014. With over the top Christmas décor and seasonal cocktails served is kitschy and nostalgic glassware it proved so popular that the founder created a sort of franchise kit, selling the concept to other bar owners around the world. This year it has grown to over 110 locations and Jacksonville is home to one of the best – Miracle on the Square.
Launching Black Friday, November 29th and running through New Year’s Eve, Miracle on the Square will be housed at Grape & Grain Exchange for the second year in a row. An exciting new cocktail for 2019 season is the SanTaRex, Rye Whiskey, Oloroso Sherry, Spiced and Hard Apple Cider, Lemon Juice & Baked Apple Bitters, served in a stand out bright green Tyrannosaurus Rex ceramic mug – because even dinosaurs are getting into the holiday spirit. Additional unique and unusual cocktails that play on classic holiday flavors in playful mugs and glassware include the Snowball Old-Fashioned, Run Run Rudolph, and Christmapolitan. (Full menu below)
Miracle partners around the world, including Miracle on the Square, will host Ugly Sweater Parties at their locations on Monday, December 2nd, with the goal of having the largest combined ugly sweater gathering the world has ever seen! Guests are encouraged to don their best (i.e. tackiest) garb and join in the revelry of the Christmas season at their neighborhood Miracle location and of course, post the ugly sweater evidence on social media.
