Every month, Forking Amazing Restaurants partners with a local nonprofit to host a fundraiser through its Collaborate and Give program. This months nonprofit is Vision Is Priceless — a Jacksonville organization that provides free eye health screenings, as well as eye exams, prescription glasses and specialty care for uninsured and underserved members of the community.
From October 23 through October 25, Forking Amazing Restaurants will donate 5 percent of all food sales at Il Desco to support Vision Is Priceless’s efforts to provide vision care services throughout the community.
In addition to this fundraiser, Vision Is Priceless is also hosting a free public vision screening on October 25 and the Strides for Sight Awareness Walk on November 4.
