Cruisers Grill cruising into a new look for 2019

Hey, Beaches and Townies, if you have not heard the ever famous Cruisers Grill will be getting a massive facelift. Starting early September into the first quarter of 2019 extensive renovation that will include, the addition of a full bar and expansion of the outdoor patio, which will add 40 additional seats. This upgrade is the first update since Cruisers Grill opened in 1996.

Bobby Handmaker, the owner of Cruisers Grill, stated: “We are eager to begin renovations as soon as possible so we can introduce the bigger and better Cruisers Grill experience in the New Year.” “It has been our honor to host countless first dates, birthday parties and family celebrations in those years, and to provide jobs for thousands of our neighbors.”

In addition to the interior and exterior upgrades, the restaurant will reopen with an expanded menu. Longtime guest favorites like the half-pound burgers, marinated chicken, and fries with house-made ranch dressing will remain menu staples; new additions include house corned beef, house smoked pastrami, and house-baked turkey among others.

The restaurant will suspend daily operations by September 17. A reopening date will be announced in early 2019.  So get out there and get your fill of all the goodies Cruisers are known for; Best Fries in Jacksonville (Jacksonville Magazine, Void Magazine) and Best Burgers in Jacksonville (The Beaches Leader, Jacksonville Magazine and Folio Weekly).

I was privileged to have access to some of the early architectural renderings and have included two of them; it’s going to be awesome.
