Short Company Description:
The Practitioner’s Pen was created so that I could reach more people through writing and help them understand health and medical information. It has expanded to include telehealth services for men’s health, nutrition, and weight loss.
Who are you? (What’s important to you? Where are you from?):
Initially, I am from Miami, but I have lived in Jacksonville for fifteen years. My family and my faith are my bedrock. I was called to help people find joy and happiness by guiding them to health and wellness. Having made the journey myself, I approach food and health differently than most. I aim to show as many people as possible how to make small, manageable changes that significantly affect their lives.
Where do you want to go in life or in your business?: I love being a Nurse Practitioner, but the pay is minimal, and the loans are astronomical. I can determine my schedule and work from home by creating a telehealth and writing business. Within three years, the home will be the custom-built house I am designing on 10.5 acres in Jefferson County, Florida, on a lake in the woods. My business will allow me to continue to help people and find the work-life balance that I need.
What are you willing to do to get there?:
I started The Practitioner’s Pen LLC in July 2023 and reached my one-year income goal in less than three months. I built a reasonably solid foundation and knew it was time to involve the team at CFM to make it grow with marketing. I am exploring any opportunity or avenue that I can find to develop and build my business. I have learned business basics, taxes, accounting, proposals, and many things not covered in nursing school. I am a big fan of Tony Robbins courses. I am constantly looking for mentors, information, and guidance from anyone who can teach me what I need to know to expand my business and reach the financial goals I have set.
