Making The Most of Vitamin Sea

The sun, sand and salt air can be absolutely restorative. And don’t rule out the benefits of a good beach workout!

Bring your goggles, cap and a buddy (never swim alone!) for an open water swim. The waves and current will provide more challenges than lap swimming and it will be a great way to mix things up.

Unroll your yoga mat on the sand for a peaceful practice. The instability of the beach will really force you to focus on your core and balance.

Lace up your running shoes and head down to the packed sand for a few miles. Leave your headphones at home and concentrate on your form, breathing and the sounds of the waves.
