Get your Folk on at the North Florida Folk Network (NFFN) monthly showcase

Sponsored by the Mudville Music Room, Ray Lewis Productions and the North Florida Folk Network (NFFN), choice singer songwriters perform in the monthly installment of the NFFN showcase. This month’s concert will be on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, and starts at 7:30 pm at the Mudville Music Room, located at 3105 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207. Admission is $5 per person. Red Afternoon, Dixie Rodeo and Side Track will all be featured.

Side Track is a Northeast Florida acoustic-electric duo featuring vocalist Terry Whitehead and guitarist Dave Knopsnyder. Whitehead is a songwriter who has released two Americana albums that can be sampled on terrywhiteheadmusic.com. His latest album, “Garden”” is currently nominated for Best Contemporary Album by “Just Plain Folks Music” Awards.

Dixie Rodeo is Tamara Colonna and Bill Gibson, a multi-award winning duo from Jacksonville, Florida. Southern raised and submerged in its mystique and charms, they met while playing in the Americana band Red Afternoon, and discovered their shared passion for original music that incorporates elements of the South and the West.

Red Afternoon is an Americana band which highlights mesmerizing sibling-like harmonies and first class instrumentation, performing songs you may not have heard before, but will leave you wanting more.
