Free to Run drives change in community gender norms by supporting adolescent girls and young women in advancing their leadership and wellbeing through running in conflict areas of the world (Afghanistan, Iraq, etc.)

How did you get started in your field or work? I’ve always been an athlete and seen the power of sport in my own life. As I became more familiar with the inequity in the world, saw an opportunity to use my skills/talents to create more opportunity for others, with a specific focus on girls and young women who are least likely to have access to play.
What are your biggest goals in the next 6 to 12 Months for your business? Double our participation numbers in 12 months. Open a new geography. Raise 50% more funding. Rebuild our Board of Directors.
