What is your company Elevator pitch when talking about your company?
Hive Marketing is the premiere digital marketing and lead generation company for pest control and wildlife removal companies. We help small businesses in the pest control and wildlife removal field reach Marketing Independence through our proven strategies, industry knowledge, and through constant client communication.
What excites you the most about your industry?
We are on the forefront of changing how pest control and wildlife removal companies interact with marketing companies. We strive to be upfront and clear about expectations for website growth and lead generation targets. Many pest control and wildlife removal companies have been run through the ringer, having the deal with marketing service after marketing service. Our goal is to be the last one they’ll ever need.
How do you go about making difficult leadership decisions, both big and small?
More often than not, your gut decision is the right one. But, having the knowledge, research, and confidence to go with that gut feeling is extremely important for long term success.
Whatever the decision ends up being, I want to feel confident in it and push forward.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to enhance their leadership skills?
Keep your employees best interests in mind. We often get lost in dollar signs and parameters we’ve set up for our businesses. Flexibility with employees is crucial for me. If you take care of your team, they will take care of you.
What is the biggest challenge you think you or your organization is going to face in the upcoming year?
Growth! As we continuing scaling our services and offerings, we’ll take on new clients. Hiring the right people to assist in our mission is time consuming and doesn’t always work out. So, paring growth with finding the right people will be a challenge.
