Short company description:
I am an author and speaker. Myself and my company are dedicated to encouraging individuals who have faced tragedies. Having buried four children I have walked the hard journey of restoration. Our message is to show as well as tell others that tragedies, deep heartaches and major disappointments do not have to define their lives. A full and abundant life can be lived regardless of the painful events that are experienced.
How do you define success?
Organic Connection. I spent many years in Corporate America in sales and marketing. I know that world and understand the blanket that marketers and influencers want to throw to cover the masses. To me, success is invitations such as this. I am more interested in connecting with people who need my message and whose lives can be impacted than to have my name and face on social media with numerous followers and “likes”. To me success is seeing lives who are stuck in a dark place take a step toward a brighter day.
If you could be remembered for one thing, what would it be?
She lived what she “preached”. I have buried four children, lost two parents to cancer, divorce and financial ruin. Today I live a very active, full and balanced life with an abundance of friends. I want to be remember as someone who showed people what restoration is like not just written words on pages.
How has your business changed in the past 12 months?
WOW! Dramatically. I contracted as a Chief Sales Officer for a publishing company. Because of integrity issues and a difference of professional vision I decided to follow my heart and leave. Today I am speaking to groups, organization and churches sharing my core beliefs, my story and how others can live a full abundant life regardless of the painful events they have endured. I also do women’s workshops with a co author of my second book. She came from the pageant world as Miss Ohio, Mrs USA and Mrs. International. Together our workshops help women with self image and what to do when life doesn’t turn out the way we had hoped or planned.
What are your biggest goals in the next 12 Months for your business?
To get in front of more groups, churches and organizations.
