What type of cases do you generally handle?

Estate Planning 35%

Probate 15%

Family Law 50%

Who is your typical client?

Ages 30-55; in a stable career or a business owner; thinking of their legacy and future

What is your approach or philosophy to winning or representing a case?

I always look to my client’s end goal and shape my case around what they want and need. Many attorneys look at what may be quickest or provide the best payday; however, I always consider and focus on what my client considers a success, regardless of my personal want. So far, it has worked out.

What is one misconception that you feel people may have about your firm?

We do not know what we’re doing. All of the attorneys are young women of color and people assume that we are not capable of representing the community in the same way as the “normal” lawyer. We’re not a normal firm.
