How do you define success?

I see success as the end-products of hard work and dedication to a goal. Success is subjective and dependent on the limitations we as humans place on ourselves.

I define success using the words of Maya Angelou “Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it” When I can be my authentic self, use my natural talent, and impact those around me…that is success

How did you get started in your field or work?

Although I was born and raised as an indigenous herbalist of the tribe of the Yoruba people of West Africa and trained as a clinical pharmacist, I pivoted into a combination of conventional medicine and alternative health and wellness services about ten years ago when I noticed an increase in misinformation and misconception surrounding plant medicines, including cannabis and entheogenic plants. The goal of my pivot is harm reduction. Plants are medicine. Most of our conventional drugs are from plants. Many of our people need to be made aware of these facts and tend to treat plants as just food. There’s potential for drug-plant interactions. Knowledge is the key that we have chosen at WCI Health to live up to our hypocritic oath of “Do No Harm.”

I officially got started through the Jax Bridges program. I started writing at the age or 14, but didn’t publish my first book until 2022
