Short company description:
North Florida Association of Neonatal Nurses was established about two years ago to help promote togetherness between the neonatal nurses throughout northeast Florida. We also provide educational opportunities where we can all learn from each other. We give back to the community.
What is Your Why?
I love caring for the neonatal population. I have been a NICU nurse for 5 years. NEFANN allows me to meet with others who share the same interest. We come together to promote better care for our patient population.
How did you get started in your field or work?
My daughter was born with a rare medical condition. She spent 3 weeks in the NICU during this time we received excellent care. I knew from tang day I wanted to be there for my patients and there family members providing education and the best care possible.
