Short company description:

Silent Women Speaking Foundation’s sole mission is to serve and empower mothers who have lost their child(ren) to gun violence and/or other violent acts of crime within our community. We strive to be a safe haven for angel mothers. Our goal is to provide educational support, social advocacy, and provide resources to help them to continue to pursue their dreams. Through our efforts we also strive to cultivate a positive relationship among community members, leaders, and contributors.


How do you define success?

Knowing that what you are doing is assisting and providing the necessary resources for others to use to lead them in a better healthy healing environment.


How did you get started in your field or work?

The Silent Women Speaking Foundation was birthed through a heartfelt hunger to give wounded mothers a reason to use their grief as an avenue to not just thrive, but to empower themselves to live productively while supporting others.


What’s one thing we should know that makes your company unique?

Silent Women Speaking Foundation Inc is the only organization in our community who’s founder has not lost a child.


What was the biggest obstacle you had to overcome in your business?

Getting Funding and visible resources from local businesses to help support our Grieving Families.
