What is something in your career that you learned from by making a mistake?
Great Question! Recently, I took on a start-up that expected miracles in a month and was hyper-involved in absolutely every aspect of execution, which sapped the time and expert creativity of my team. I learned a couple of things from that: one – I narrowed my ideal client profile even further; two – I realized that I had not set up-front expectations about results or our time. These were huge aha moments for me. I’ve been in business since 2013 and have honed how we do things – it’s pretty seamless. This particular experience showed me that I need to continue to evolve myself, my team, expectations, and processes. It’s a never-ending process!
