What do you feel are your key personal factors for your success?:
-Family owned business
-Each family member contributes talent, keeping everything in house
-We eat and breath our company every day, this is a 24/7 company and we are having constant conversations

What is the biggest mistake you would tell your younger self to avoid?: -Overspending! Be wary of overspending on early concepts.

Do you have a mentor and do you feel it is important to have one?: -My mentors are familial, I look to my ancestors for inspiration. I come from a Native American and Indigenous Hispanic background, we have always been surrounded by family and truly understand that it takes a village! Hard work is everything and you can’t put all your eggs in one basket.

Is there a book you can recommend that would be valuable to read for a woman starting out in business?: -My background is mental health and I heavily rely on the analytical thought process in how I’ve interacted with people. What do others want from me to incite them to support what I am doing? It grounds me and keeps me from the danger of “fantasy spending.” Learning that thought process can help you better narrow down what you truly need.

How do you achieve balance between your professional life and personal life?: Communication with my partners. I work with my spouse and we rely on each other. He keeps me grounded and aware of the emotions of people around me. I always keep his thoughts in my mind.
