What do you feel are your key personal factors for your success?: I grew up playing soccer at a high level, and it took me all over the world from a very young age. The life lessons that come from playing sports are life changing, and I would attribute soccer as the reason for my success.

What is the biggest mistake you would tell your younger self to avoid?: Worrying so much about what other people think, and trying to be too much of a people pleaser.

Do you have a mentor and do you feel it is important to have one?: I don’t currently have a mentor, but I have inspirational people in my life that have an impact on me. As a young developing person I believe mentorship is very important.

Is there a book you can recommend that would be valuable to read for a woman starting out in business?: None that come to mind.

How do you achieve balance between your professional life and personal life?: That is the million dollar question. I am fortunate to have flexibility in my work schedule to be able to pick up my kids from school and be able to do evening activities with them. The flip side is I usually have a 3am wake-up call, and I work every day of the week instead of just 5. It’s a compromise, but a worthwhile one.
