Short company description:
We are a production brewery with a 4000 square foot taproom. We opened in November 2020 and now we have grown to 20+ employees. Our brewery and taproom are located in the iconic former Lasserre Motor Company Ford dealership building in Fernandina Beach. We serve up to a dozen different beers, and some seltzers, ciders, and wine. We also have a full service coffee shop that operates from 7:00 am until 4:00 pm. Outside of our tap room, some of our most popular beers can be found at restaurants, bars, package, and convenience stores from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine. We are opening a satellite tap room at WildLight in May or June of this year.
What is the biggest marketing challenge that you will face in the upcoming year?
For us to achieve deeper penetration into the Jackonville and St. Augustine beer markets, we need to work hard to create more and more brand awareness and get our beers into more hands month by month.
What differentiates you from the competition?
There are many excellent beers being brewed in this market, so to be different, Mocama must attract people into one of our taprooms and provide them with an impactful immersive brand experience that they enjoy and wish to share with others. Outside our tap rooms, our cans are attractive, attention-grabbing, and memorable. We receive many compliments on our can label designs.
