About Us: Airman to Mom LLC was born out of Amanda’s love of writing. When she was deployed to Afghanistan she would write letters home to family and friends to keep them informed about her adventure overseas. When she left the military to become a stay at home mom and military spouse she was lost. She decided to take her love of writing and created a blog. Her blog Airman to Mom started as a place to share her story of transitioning from Airman to Mom. Today she uses her platform to help share the stories of military women and help guide the next generation to serve. Today Airman to Mom LLC has grown outside the original blog she has created with a podcast Women of the Military. And shares her story and the stories of others through freelance writing and books.
First, Women of the Military Podcast is the a place for women to share their story of serving in the military. It includes interviews from all five branches of the military. Guests include the 23rd Secretary of the Air Force, Brig Gen Wilma Vaught (ret), Maj Gen Mari Eder (ret) and so many more.
Second, Amanda is the author of Women of the Military (available on Amazon) and later this summer will be published in a joint collaboration for Brave Women Strong Faith.
Thirdly, Amanda is a freelance writer for We Are the Mighty and MilspouseFest. She has also been published in Military Spouse Magazine, Military Families Magazine, Military.com, NextGen MilSpouse and more. She is working to build her platform so she can begin speaking around the world.
