Short company description: Body Aqua is a beverage created by a disabled veteran that was birthed during a combat tour in Iraq (Operation Iraqi Freedom). My name is Sherman Williams and I am the veteran in question. During my tour I witnessed fellow soldiers dying from overhydration and overconsumption of energy drinks on the battlefield. As well as experiencing skin complications from extreme weather changes, ranging from scalding hot to freezing cold temperatures. These experiences changed my outlook on beverages deemed healthy or nutritional based on how tragically misleading many beverage companies tend to be in their advertisement strategy.

How do you define success?: Success to me is being in a position to provide a healthier beverage World Wide.

What Branch were you in and how long?: Served in the United States Army for 24 years 9 months.

After your service ended, how did you spend your time? Did you go back to school? Immediately Enter the private Sector?: After my service ended, I continued working on branding bodyaqua, being at one time in whole foods for over 2 years, I built sales in that arena, but failed to get support from distributors and whole foods regardless of increased sales.

Are you a member of any Veteran’s organizations? If so, which ones?:

The American Legion
