What makes your company unique?: I can think of a pun for pretty much anything so this business grew organically from my love for all things punny, creative, mixed with years of working in marketing which helped me get things up and running!

How do you define success?: When I see a review of someone sharing why one particular product was perfect for their special moment that is success! For example, we have cards for pretty much every occasion and inside joke. If your house plant obsessed friend is getting married, we have a punny card for that.

What’s your favorite way to get involved in the community?: I love doing Pop Ups and collaborating with local creatives and businesses! Participating in events has been my go-to way to introduce myself and business to the community. I’ve done large frequent markets like Riverside Arts Market and then participated in local business events.

What is your biggest marketing challenge in your business: Marketing on a budget! My background is in marketing so I’ve work as my own mini in house agency marketing the business but all of my efforts are organic. We’ve been able to do A LOT organically but some opportunities come at a cost. I am very mindful of what paid opportunities I take on but have found that the more I put my story out there and as long as I’m genuine and myself, there’s a lot you can do with little funding!

Ryan Crary is an artist from Jacksonville, Florida has already played some of the city’s top venues, including Jacksonville Landing, Lynch’s Irish Pub, and many more. Energetic and engaging while on stage, Ryan’s cover song repertoire ranges from the likes of the Rolling Stones to Michael Jackson to Garth Brooks.

What makes your company unique?: I like to have fun at my shows. I play the songs I actually like and always exploring musical avenues and growing the brand.

How do you define success?: Better than you were the day before. However as a musician this type of success can be difficult when you lose a steady gig, or the crowd isn’t as engaged as they were the night before. I believe my success definition has evolved into the question: “Does this make me happy?”

What’s your favorite way to get involved in the community?: helping those that need it. I’ve used my musical momentum in the past to help fundraising events for those in need. One in fact was for Buzz in which is was “Musicians Against Homelessness.” Getting involved with our community now is undergoing a change and we will have to find new ways to support each other- whether it be social media, buying songs, promoting someone else on your own site, getting someone else a gig etc…

What is your biggest marketing challenge in your business: There are so many…
I hit a stride in growing my social media content and fan base around 2016- doing top 10 covers on youtube and scheduling tweets to go out 3 times a day, keeping up with instagram tags, and Facebook.
It’s really about return on investment with Marketing. Producing new content like covering a new song in a genre you don’t like is not a fun time.
