What makes your company unique?: Our company provide an experience. The unique thing it’s always different. You get anexperience with a a chef cooking live. We also provide unique set up rather it’s on the riverfront, an remote location, your backyard rather it’s movie night, A wedding, just because, surprise, lady or gentleman night out, birthdays, anniversary’s, company get functions etc we provide full service you name it we on it

How do you define success?: Success is when you wake up in the morning and your excited about your day and what you do for a living.

What is a tip for success that you would provide someone in your same industry?: To just stay persistent and believe In yourself be a great listener because you learn something everyday.

What is your favorite type of event to be involved with and why?: I love all the event because each one is different And challenging and we meet so many great ppl they all become family

How have you and your company handled the COVID-19 situation?: The covid-19 is real and we handle as so. As a company we keep family and the world in our prayers because this has effected the entire world. The great thing about Julians is we provide a service in which we bring the restaurant to you to make sure you everyone is self and still have a great dinner

Terri Davlantes grew up in a large family in Jacksonville, Florida. The main gathering place for the family of eleven was the kitchen, always abuzz with activity and conversation. Important life lessons were imparted there, including how to cook and the importance of family meals in raising healthy, well-adjusted children. These lessons were invaluable when Terri and her husband began raising their four children.

What services does your company provide?: Cooking experiences for adults, kids, families, and corporate teams

Short company description: JAX Cooking Studio offers adult and date night classes, children’s classes, private cooking experiences, and corporate team-building events. Guests get hands-on culinary experience preparing 3-4 menu items in each class under the guidance of our professional chefs. What makes your company unique?: At JAX Cooking Studio, guests have no time to be on their cell phones because we keep them engaged cooking their meals! Our professional chefs all excel at teaching and adding fun to our cooking classes. We offer complimentary wine to adults during all our classes.

How do you define success?: We enjoy what we do and get our thrills seeing the guests have a fantastic time cooking and learning a few new culinary skills.

What is a tip for success that you would provide someone in your same industry?: Make the cooking experiences fun, interactive, and educational and people will want to keep coming back!

What is your favorite type of event to be involved with and why?: While we love all our cooking classes, we especially like cooking with corporate teams and children. The corporate teams can be so competitive, and it is fun to watch them heckle each other. Kids are enjoyable because you can see the light bulbs go off in their heads when they realize that they can cook and that they enjoy eating what they prepare!

How have you and your company handled the COVID-19 situation?: At each phase of COVID-19, we have adapted to meet the current regulatory requirements and CDC recommendations while continuing to keep our employees working and bringing in revenue to pay our bills. It has been challenging, but COVID-19 forced us to explore new avenues that we might not have gone down at this point in our company’s growth.
