Short company description: Grow Family Yoga teaches kids and their families to cut through the chaos of daily life and embrace the calm. Through its progressive approach to self-care, homeschooling, and yoga classes curated for children and their families, Grow Family Yoga allows you to embrace inclusivity, education, and laughter so that you can relax and reconnect to your breath, body, and family.

What makes your company unique?: We are family-centered, we value evidence and intuition, and we embrace families just as they are. Grow Family Yoga & Family exists as a place to educate and inspire children and their families so they can radically change the future through empathy and understanding, exploration and play, and movement and connection. We strive to uphold a standard of equity, education, and enthusiasm – all people are supported with the most current and progressive knowledge in child development. Grow Family Yoga classes are infused with fun, compassion, and affirmations. Members know Grow to be a place that helps families find joy and unwind as they connect to their own star-stuff self, and to their loved ones. In a world that’s constantly on the go-go-go, we rest in the fact that yoga is a lifestyle; yoga is inspirational; and yoga is compassionate

How do you define success?: Feeling joyful and present knowing that what I am doing personally and professionally matters in the grand scheme-that it changes the way humans interact. It means peace to me. Success is constant learning and evolution that inspires others.

What is a tip for success that you would provide someone in your same industry?: Don’t be afraid of radical transparency and authenticity! Know who you are and who you serve and do it to the fullest.

What is your favorite type of event to be involved with and why?: I love events! My favorite are family-centered where everyone is welcome and having a good time. Even better if it is for a cause that advances equity.

How have you and your company handled the COVID-19 situation?: We have done a lot! We added more virtual options, we closed for 6 months, we slowly opened with pod classes requiring masks, and limiting size, and we upped our sanitizing game. We have a mask requirement in place still as well as have kept our cleaning protocols tip-top.
