What is the biggest change in marketing that you see coming in the next 2 years?
The privacy first ecosystem. For the first time in the digital age, we’re going backwards in terms of our ability to track. Marketers are flying blind and will need to learn to contend with this new environment.

What is the advantage to working with an outside media buyer as opposed to having just an internal marketing director?
It’s the difference between having a general practitioner and a medical specialist. Your GP can help guide your health journey but, if you want neurosurgery, you probably want a neurosurgeon 😉
What is one tip that you would give when it comes to media planning?
Test then automate. People set out to build campaigns that scale, this is a recipe for failure. Set out to build a campaign that establishes proof of concept. Then, once you are there, you have the ability to scale.
How does a media buyer stay on top of trends with media placement?
Spend an hour a day learning (read, listen, watch, etc.)
