What volunteer experience has impacted you the most?: I’m proud to have purpose in my day to day life as I serve veterans and military spouses as a Transition Specialist. This work is truly meaningful to me and allows me to work with a population that I am so passionate about!
How do you define success?: At Hire Heroes, success looks like meaningful and stable employment. What is meaningful, though, varies from individual to individual. We’re here to make sure they have access to all the resources and tools they need to pursue their professional goals. I like to recommend that my clients think about the values that are most important to them. Is it work life balance, location, career growth and so on. Then, I encourage them to research careers that will align with those values so they feel successful.
