What is your approach or philosophy to winning or representing a case?: I preach good governance. Passing bright line rules that apply equally to everyone is very important. Community association cases are very personal; they have to do with your home and your neighbors. We keep all of that in mind when advising our clients.
What is one misconception that you feel people may have about your firm?: “HOA Lawyer” ranks pretty low in the minds of most people; they may well have heard of an HOA “run amok” and think that all associations and their attorneys are driven by greed and selfishness. What we do is about building community and improving quality of life.
