What Branch of Service where you in and for how long?: US Air Force, 4 years

After your service ended, how did you spend your time? Did you go back to school? Immediately enter the private sector?: Immediately entered the private sector. My career in the AF prepared me for and opened a job opportunity that was waiting for me to begin once the Stop Loss was lifted after 9/11.

What has been your career after your service came to an end?: The career I was trained for in the AF is the career in which I’ve worked since my date of separation. I’ve been in my current career field for 23 years including my time in service. The AF trained me for a very successful journey within my career field.

Was there anything or anyone that helped you during the transition from military to civilian life?: The Transition Assistance Program I went through before my separation was immensely helpful. I utilize those tools specifically almost everyday.
