Short company description:

Everything I Am helps returning citizens find success in their second chance by showing them that change is possible. We also educate society on the second sentence that returning citizens and justice involved individuals face when they are released from confinement.

How do you define success?

Success is when I can teach someone something. When I can improve someone’s life by just giving them hope. When I receive an email that tells me that what I do, or what I’ve said helped.

If you could be remembered for one thing, what would it be?

Being the light at the end of the tunnel for individuals that thought that it was the end of the road.

How has your business changed in the past 12 months?

In February, speaking out about the second sentence was really jus a thought…since that thought, I received my public speaking certification and was endorsed by Dr. Eric “ET” Thomas, I have been on more podcasts and news outlets than I can count. I was chosen out of over 200 applicants to do TEDx Jacksonville, and I was featured in Forbes. I went back to prison for the first time since my release and I have secured a contract with Tennessee Department of Corrections to keynote t three of their graduations. Oh yeah, and I published book.

What are your biggest goals in the next 12 Months for your business?

To work full time in he Reentry field, I also want Everything I am clothing, which is a confidence boosting clothing line that helps support returning citizens and justice involved individuals, to be inside a major retailer.
