What is the biggest change in marketing that you see coming in the next 2 years?

I’m currently working on looking into the nuances of the NFT world and what that is going to mean in regards to marketing. I do believe that it will have an impact, I haven’t fully decided what yet.
Other than that, I think the trends will continue in that marketing will need to be more granular and focused. It will need to be better at speaking directly to the ideal buyer, and being placed where that buyer is looking. Additionally, I think marketing will continue to become less and less obvious and will leverage more subtle and subconscious streams of influence.


What is one tip that you would give when it comes to digital marketing?

Don’t be afraid to get something out there, try, and then try again. But most importantly, be consistent in putting out marketing messages!


What is something in your career that you learned from by making a mistake?

I made the mistake of putting WAY too much time into trying to perfect a marketing plan and landing page when we first started offering online courses. After all that work, we launched, I put too much money into ads without testing for conversions, and a huge amount of time & money ended up being wasted. It would have been better to put something out and tweak it and tweak it until it was converting well, THEN put money into ads.
