What is the biggest change in marketing that you see coming in the next 2 years?

I see a lot of change that is going to come in the next years, between social media platforms, what was “PR”, email servers, and the rise of more and more “influencers”. I think the biggest change is that everything will change. For my clients and my brands, it’s identifying the strategy that will transcend what changes will inevitable happen with all other platforms – What is our voice, our specific strength in all these platforms, in addition, I am always analyzing the scalability of a brand to withstand another pandemic.


What is the advantage to working with an outside media buyer as opposed to having just an internal marketing director?

From my experience, external media buyers have specific skill sets that lend to part-time amount needed from the brand. And the work that they do on other brands, tends to benefit the knowledge that they have to add to my company.


How does a media buyer stay on top of trends with media placement?

The best people in the game are obsessed with culture, and can identify opportunities that are broad and specific. For example: knowing a specific youtuber that has a similar audience to your product and knowing to run and ad campaign on their content.
