What do you feel are your key personal factors for your success?:
* Continually creating meaning out of my life
* Having a regular practice of silence, reflecting, integrating and diligence

What is the biggest mistake you would tell your younger self to avoid?: * To be less concerned about what other people think about me.

Do you have a mentor and do you feel it is important to have one?: I’ve had a lot of mentors: My parents, Rabbi Steven Fisdel of blessed memory, and Judy Lee to name a few. Yes, having someone you look up to who you can turn to for guidance and support, someone who has a vested interested in you being all you can be, is extremely important.

Is there a book you can recommend that would be valuable to read for a woman starting out in business?: Since my business is one of bringing healing to myself and others, I would recommend Clarissa Pinkola Estes’ book, “The Faithful Gardener”. She writes of that indomitable faithful force within each of us that sees us through all kinds of loss and never dies.

How do you achieve balance between your professional life and personal life?:
It’s challenging but self care is not optional when you are a psychotherapist and actively involved in other people’s lives for a living . I meditate, do mind
/body work, I read, I write, I exercise, I spend as much time outdoors in nature as possible and I have a strong support system.
