What Branch of Service where you in and for how long?: I am a US Army veteran, with 15 years of service. I am also a police officer with the Jackson sheriffs office with 20 years of service

What was your job in the military?: I am a US Army veteran I I am an infantry sergeant. civilian life was difficult to adjust, luckily I found law-enforcement and made a career out of it. To be honest with you my son who is A combat veteran has had a much harder time of it than me

Why do you feel it’s important for people to know your business is a Veteran Owned business?: VEMA us a great Organization, Our mission of supporting those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice can sometimes be a difficult one and the more word we can get out the more we can do

When leaving the service what was your biggest struggle?: I had a good strong support system, and life was not too bad for me I have to leave in the military. Again my son has had a very hard time. His best friend in the military committed suicide. My son often struggles, and for some reason feels a stigma for reaching out for help. I have numerous friends they have difficulties with their time in the military and I’m always looking for ways to help

What resources for veterans did you find that helped you overcome that struggle?: To be honest I haven’t really used to many resources. I actually could use help both my son and I would like to apply for VA disability benefits but don’t know where to start
